Lise & Robert met me at Stone Mountain Park for an afternoon of fun & flirting. Their wedding was originally scheduled to be in Haiti, but the earthquake put a damper on the festivities. I can’t wait for their son to be a little ring bearer. Isn’t he the cutest!~Hilarye~

Calhoun, GA is a small southern town. Everyone knows everybody, and every single person is sweet as pie! Ariel & Andrew grew up in Calhoun, and both recently graduated from UGA. Ariel attended Belmont Baptist Church when she was little, so it was the perfect place for them to get married.Merle Norman did Ariel’s makeup and she was flawless.Andrew cleans up pretty nice, don’t you think?~Hilarye~

Athens Engagement Photography : Kristen & Stephen

The University of Georgia was the perfect place to shoot Kristen & Stephen’s Engagement photos. First, Kristen went to school there. Second, it’s an absolutely gorgeous campus. And third, I just plain love Athens, GA.Kristen & Stephen are troupers. Right after this photo was taken it started to POUR down rain.Fast forward 30 minutes. We waited out the rain under cover, and then ventured over to the train tracks behind the stadium.After the rain, it was oppressively humid. But, Kristen & Stephen toughed it out and totally ROCKED it.Everyone, meet Ramsey. The biggest, most loving & playful pooch ever. A special thank you goes out to Stephen’s Mom for helping take care of Ramsey while he wasn’t posing!~Hilarye~

Atlanta Family Photography : Amelia’s Baptism

Erik & Kumiko have become dear friends over the years. It all started back in 2007 when I photographed their wedding. Then, in 2009 I photographed their first child, Abby. Earlier this year Amelia came along and I had the honor of photographing her as well. When Kumiko called me and asked if I would be willing to photograph Amelia’s Baptism, I couldn’t say no! Amelia did so well with the actual Baptism. She didn’t cry at all!The stained glass at Peachtree Road United Methodist Church is amazing.After the Baptism, the whole family went to Ray’s on the River for a delicious Sunday brunch.~Hilarye~

If I had to pick one word to describe Caroline & Matt’s wedding, it would be heartwarming. This couple had the most loving, caring, and just plain amazing family anyone could ask for. Hundreds of hugs were given, happy tears flowed freely, and there was laughter all around. It was a perfect day. Scott of Scott Richards Salon did Caroline’s hair. I have always said that a good haircut can totally change your attitude and apparently, Scott thinks so too!Caroline & Matt wed at Smyrna First United Methodist Church.Caroline’s Mom has the BEST laugh.Village Green Flowers made Caroline’s beautiful bouquet.Beautiful!So handsome!Perfect in purple.Best. Jumping. Picture. EVER.The Whitlock Inn was the perfect setting for their reception!Carriage House Catering made this delicious looking cake.Complete Music kept the dance floor hopping & everyone very happy!~Hilarye~

Kristen & Chris’ wedding was awesome. Watching two families come together to celebrate the union of their children is so special, and I was truly honored to be a part of their day!Kristen sure was a beautiful bride!Chris gave Kristen a necklace with her new initials on the front. On the back side it said “6-26-10 and Forever”. So sweet!Bling!Seriously, two of the cutest flower girls ever.Jewel encrusted crowns. The crowns symbolize the glory and honor bestowed on the couple by God, and the the ribbon signifies their unity. How cool is that?Prayer candles for the couple.The Greek Orthodox Cathedral of The Annunciation is one of the prettiest churches in the city.Every action in the ceremony is done 3 times to represent the Holy Trinity.Happy couple!If you are reading that menu card and licking your lips, Proof of the Pudding put together that tasty meal!Southern Bouquets did all the florals. I l.o.v.e the the hot pink & navy blue color scheme!Sweet Stuff made Kristen & Chris’ elegant wedding cake & created this AWESOME Braves Stadium grooms cake.Happy tears flowed as the toasts were given & I have to admit, I cried a little too.Hilarye~

Tammy & I play ALTA together. I was honored when she asked me to photograph her wedding, but got even more excited when I heard the story of how she and John met.

They met on June 14, 1979 at North Georgia College & State University, and became good friends. After college, they parted ways. Little did they know, each summer they sent their kids to the same camp. When their kids connected on Facebook, Tammy & John found each other again & started dating. Exactly 31 years to the day after they first met, they held a absolutely gorgeous wedding at BlackStock Vineyards in Dahlonega, GA. Check it out!John looked so handsome!Didn’t Tammy just glow? I do!Mr. & Mrs!!!!!I love rings with a splash of color! Tammy & John bought their rings from Brett Weiler of Decatur City Jewelers. Brett has an awesome shop in the heart of historic downtown Decatur. Who wouldn’t want a glass of wine to go with that view?!Tammy & John had two first dances. First, a traditional slow dance where their kids joined them, and then a swing dance!Yummy cupcakes and Tammy’s stunning orchid & peace lily bouquet made by Sherry at Gertie Mae’s Flowers. Sunset at BlackStock is simply stunning. Once the sun is gone, you can see every star in the sky.~Hilarye~
